Hi, I would like to welcome you to My Child Safety Website. I decided to put together this website to help all new parents or parents to be, learn all the important safety issues that should be addressed before bringing a new baby into the home.
You may be wondering what makes me qualified to offer such advice and that is a very good question that all parents should ask so they know that the information they are getting is the best it can be for their children's sake.
Well I can tell you that I have been a parent for 26 years now and I have learned a lot on my own just by trial and error. I have taken a number of child safety courses, everything from preparing your home for the arrival of a new baby to fire safety, swimming safety, not only as a swimming instructor but a full nine month course dealing with every type of safety measure associated with water be it in a swimming pool at the beach or in your home's bathtub.
I have worked with a number of fire departments putting together free car seat safety courses/classes. I have put together safety clinics for dozens of primary schools. Although what I believe makes me more than qualified to help other parents put together a safety plan for their children aside from all the courses and classes I have taken or taught is the arrival of my daughter, Leah Grace who just celebrated her 1st birthday on May 24,2010 just 25 years after the birth of her brother.
